GMAT Test Centers in Paris
Paris offers two primary GMAT test centers—the Pearson Professional Centre and an authorized center—along with the flexibility of GMAT Online. Choosing the right option depends on your schedule, comfort with in-person testing, and preferred test environment.
Test centers in Paris
Paris has two main in-person GMAT test centers: the Pearson Professional Centre and an authorized center. Both are equipped to deliver the GMAT under standard testing conditions. You can find more details about what to expect at a test center on our GMAT test center glossary.
- Pearson Professional Centre – a dedicated testing facility run by Pearson VUE.
- Authorized center – an additional approved venue for GMAT administration.
Both centers offer the same exam, but availability may vary. It's wise to book your preferred date early.
Booking the exam
To book your GMAT in Paris, create an account on mba.com, select the test center option, and choose your date and time. You can also opt for GMAT Online, which allows you to take the exam from home. Online proctoring is available, but you must meet system requirements and schedule in advance.
Online vs in-person
GMAT Online offers flexibility and convenience, especially if you prefer a familiar environment. However, in-person testing at a Paris center provides a controlled setting with fewer distractions. Consider your comfort with technology and need for a quiet space. Both formats are accepted by business schools, but check with your target schools for any preferences.
Preparation timeline
Plan to book your test at least 3–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred slot. Use a GMAT score calculator to set a target score and build a study plan. Allocate at least 6–8 weeks for preparation, with regular practice tests.
Local tips
If you're taking the test in person, arrive 30 minutes early and bring a valid ID. For online exams, test your equipment beforehand. On test day, get a good night's sleep and plan your route to the center to avoid stress. Remember to bring snacks and water for breaks.
